ECI High-Level Team to Visit Goa on October 7-8 for Election Review

A high-level team from the Election Commission of India (ECI) will visit Goa on October 7 and 8 to review preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections. Led by Senior Deputy Election Commissioners Manish Garg and Pawan Kumar Sharma, the officials will meet with senior election, police, and district administration officials. The two-day visit will comprehensively assess poll readiness, covering critical aspects such as voter registration, overall election arrangements, enforcement measures, and security preparations. Goa’s Chief Electoral Officer, Dr. Sanjay Goel, heads the state’s election machinery.
