Elephant Omkar Is a Form of Lord Ganesha, Let Him Meet People: Minister Ravi Naik

Reacting to media queries about the presence of elephant Omkar in Goa, Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik offered a spiritual perspective, saying the elephant symbolizes Lord Ganesha and should be welcomed.

“Elephant is the form of Ganesha, and we consider Ganpati as our lord. We also regard the elephant in the same light,” Naik said. Referring to Omkar’s interaction with the public, he added, “He has come to meet the people — let him meet them.”
