PONDA: A 49-year-old woman from Tisk-Usgao committed suicide on Saturday.
According to Ponda police, Bharati Patil ended her life while her second daughter was in college and she was alone at home.
Her husband had expired about three months ago and she had been under depression since then. She is survived by two daughters, one of whom is married. Ponda police is investigating.
