MARGAO, APRIL 9
The Margao police has registered a case against unknown persons after a city-based private bank detected counterfeit notes totaling around Rs 21400.
Police said the case was registered after the bank manager lodge a complaint stating that the staff has detected the fake currency notes in the bank.
Incidentally, this is not the first time that the counterfeit currency notes have been detected in this particular bank.
The Margao Police had a host of cases relating to counterfeit notes after receiving complaints from the manager of this particular bank last year.
The Police are investigating the case.
