MARGAO: For the first time since liberation, the Margao Municipal Council had a festive look as the building’s interiors were decorated with the Christmas theme thanks to acting Chairperson Tito Cardoso’s initiative.
A life size Santa Claus is placed at the entrance to the council building. All the main doors of the building reflect the Christmas cheer as red and white clothes are draped to represent a closed curtain.
The staircase leading to the first place has red and white colour buntings.
Besides, the MMC Staff have put up a huge star outside between the MMC building and the MMC garden entrance. A huge crib has been put up in the Municipal garden and a Christmas tree there has also been decorated.
