BICHOLIM: In yet another offence against school children, a 13-year-old girl from a school in Bicholim was allegedly molested by a 27-year-old bus conductor from Karaswada-Mapusa.
Police have arrested bus conductor, Raju alias Tukaram Lagote, in connection with the case.

According to reports, the incident occurred on Saturday at about 7.30 am when the girl was proceeding to her school. The girl boarded a bus to the school plying from Mapusa to Dodamarg.
Taking advantage of the rush in the bus, the conductor, Raju alias Tukaram Lagote allegedly molested the girl. When the girl resisted and confronted the conductor, the accused started abusing the girl.
The girl later reported the incident to her parents. The girl along with her parents waited at the bus stop for three days to identify the conductor, but the accused did not turn up. On Wednesday, the girl identified Raju and immediately complained to the police.
The police along with an NGO registered a complaint and police arrested Raju under Sections 354, 504 IPC and 8 A of Children Act.
