PANJIM: GMC Dean suspended staff nurse of ward no 143, Yogita Naik, for insensitive behaviour. A matron has been served a show cause notice for the same behaviour.
“The undersigned in the exercise of powers conferred by Sub rule (1) of Rule 10 of the central civil service rules, 1985 herby place Yogita staff nurse under suspension with immediate effect,” states the suspension order. During the period the order shall remain in force, Naik’s HQs will be the medical supdt’s office, GMC and she shall not leave the headquarters without necessary permissions from the dean.
