Goa Cabinet Approves FAR Increase for Key Government Redevelopment Projects in Panjim

Pramod Sawant said that the Goa Cabinet has approved proposals to increase the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) for major government redevelopment projects in Panjim.

The approval includes the proposed redevelopment of the iconic Junta House as well as the reconstruction of government residential quarters at St Inez.

According to the Chief Minister, the increase in FAR is expected to facilitate improved infrastructure planning and support the redevelopment of key government properties in the state capital. He stated that the projects form part of broader efforts aimed at modernising public infrastructure and enhancing urban facilities in Panaji.

The proposed redevelopment initiatives are expected to contribute to better utilisation of available land while upgrading government housing and administrative infrastructure in the city.
