The Church in Goa has strongly condemned a recent advertisement that allegedly connects Christmas with explicit and inappropriate themes, calling it “deeply hurtful” and “irresponsible.”
Expressing serious concern, Archbishop Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao said the festival of Christmas is sacred, symbolising joy, peace, and the love of God, and should not be misrepresented or associated with content that offends religious sentiments.

The Church has urged the creators of the ad to immediately withdraw the material and has appealed to authorities to investigate the matter.
