Goa Congress Chief Amit Patkar Seeks Amit Shah’s Intervention Over Rising Crime

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Amit Patkar has urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to intervene amid what he describes as a sharp rise in crime across the state. Patkar alleged that Goa’s law and order machinery is on the verge of collapse, claiming that the government has failed to ensure public safety.

The GPCC chief said that the increasing number of violent incidents in recent weeks reflects a broader breakdown in policing and governance. He called on the Union Home Minister to take immediate cognisance of the situation and initiate corrective measures to restore confidence among citizens.
