Goa: Fatorda Police Register FIR Against Housemaid for ₹2 Lakh Gold Theft at Gogol

The Fatorda Police Station has registered an FIR against a housemaid in connection with the alleged theft of gold ornaments from a residence in Gogol, Fatorda.

According to the complaint filed by the homeowner, the incident took place between October 2024 and February 2025 at Gogol in Fatorda. The accused, who was employed as a housemaid, is alleged to have stolen gold jewellery from a drawer in the complainant’s house.

The stolen items reportedly include one gold chain, two gold chains with an ‘S’ pendant, and three bracelets, collectively valued at approximately ₹2 lakh.

Police have registered the case and further investigation is underway to recover the stolen ornaments and determine the full extent of the offence.
