The Bombay High Court has dismissed an application filed by the State of Goa seeking the cancellation of bail granted to murder accused Deepan Batra.
Batra, a 23-year-old native of Delhi, has been accused of the murder of Maria Joao Fernandes, a resident of Mandrem. The alleged crime took place in February 2025.
