Things went from bad to worse as Goa exited the National
Football Championship for Santosh Trophy without recording a single point in
the final round. They lost their ultimate group encounter against Maharashtra
0-2 on Sunday, thus losing all of their five matches. This, probably could be
one of the longest losing streaks for the team in the competition; a record,
which coach Norberto Gonsalves wouldn’t be proud of.
