Of these 79.01 percent or 1,74,394 households were of the pucca (permanent) type that include houses made from concrete, stone packed with mortar, metal, asbestos sheets, or burnt brick.
The kuccha (makeshift) type of houses made with grass, thatch, bamboo, plastic, polythene, mud, unburnt brick, wood or stone accounted for 20.97 percent of households in rural areas.
