The initiative, timed with the reopening of schools, is part of efforts to strictly implement the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act. NTCP officials have raised concerns over the increasing trend of students using e-cigarettes, which are often cleverly disguised as common items such as pens and USB drives.
Alongside enforcement actions, the NTCP is also working to boost awareness among students, parents, and educators about the health risks posed by these deceptive devices.
