MARGAO: Gold ornaments worth Rs 5 lakh were allegedly stolen from a woman at Sucaldem, Chinchinim, on Wednesday afternoon.
The woman Elaina Daniel Almeida in her complaint filed with the Cuncolim police has stated that the incident took place between 12 noon and 1.30 pm on Wednesday an unknown person came to her house on the pretext of asking an address and committed theft of gold ornaments all worth Rs 5 lakh and fled. Police have registered theft case.
under section 380 of IPC and PSI Tukaram Chavan is investigating.
