PANJIM: In view of the present COVID-19 pandemic, the Goa University has decided to postpone the commencement of all examinations from July 1 to August 3 onwards.
University in a circular issued has said that the mode in which the examinations are to be conducted from August 3 onwards will be communicated shortly.
It has also said that the circular does not apply to the examinations being held or to be held under the faculty of medicine.
Goa University also has extended its second term for the academic year 2019-20 to August 14.
In a circular issued, Registrar YV Reddy has said that the university has decided not to hold Semester End Examinations for the lower semester students o all Post graduate programmes of general education offered at the university and at the affiliated colleges for the current academic year.
This also includes the integrated MBA (hospitality, travel and tourism) programme offered at the Goa Business school and integrated master of commerce programme offered at S S Dempo College of Commerce and Economics.
All the students will be graded based on the marks scored by them in intra semester assessment during the current Semester.
