Has Mhadei become a victim of internal politics of Karnataka? What are the consequences?

The daming of the water of
Mhadei has become a victim of the Karnataka Elections with both the BJP and
Congress in Karnataka supporting the Kalasa and the Bandura projects. The
impact of daming of Mhadei on Goa will be serious. The forest and wildlife will
be severely affected.  Besides, the
saline water from the Arabian sea will go right up to the ghats, making the
entire river saline. A number of legislators and politicians gave their opinion
on Mhadei.
