PONDA: The issue of 33 KV High Tension lines passing over the Bahusaheb Bandodkar Football ground at Kashimath Bandora on Sunday dominated the Bandora gram sabha with local raising concern over high tension lines passing over the ground.
The asked the Sarpanch as to who should be held responsible incase of untoward incident happens due to high tension lines.
High voltage drama was witnessed over the issue in gram sabha.
Not only the ground is being currently used by football lovers, but also by the elderly. Some locals even suggested that it should be closed for public due to safety issue. However, finally it was decided that the panchayat should write to South Goa Collector to take proper action on this unsafe football ground.
