MARGAO: Margao police are on the look out for parents of the infant boy who was kidnapped by unknown persons at the SGPDA grounds last month.
While the police could not locate the kidnapped boy till date, the case has attained a new twist with the parents having gone missing.
“We are on the look out of the parents, who have left their place of residence from the SGPDA grounds. Their presence is required to throw light on a host of questions about the infant,” informed Margao PI Sudesh Naik.
The father had claimed that the one-month-old infant boy was kidnapped in the wee hours by two motorcycle borne miscreants before fleeing away from the spot.
The family, which is engaged in selling toys and balloons at feast fairs, had later lodged a complaint with the Margao police.
Replying to a question, PI Naik said the police will try to trace the parents at the feast fairs and zatras and help assist in the ongoing investigation.
