MARGAO: The Margao Municipal Council on Tuesday along with their officials distributed immunity boosters and medicines to the people in the shelter home for the urban homeless during the 5th medical check up.
Immunity boosters like Chawanprash were provided to the homeless at Navelim shelter home during the medical checkup.

Other medicines such as cough syrup, antacid, paracetamol, soframycin, ORS, B-Complex tablets were given to ensure that the homeless at Navelim shelter home are in good health and hygiene.
The medicines are provided by the District Administration and the Health centres and are worth at least Rs 3 lakh.
Dr Sneha Bhagwat facilitated the procurement of these medicines. MMC staff Viraj Arabekar and Sanjay Naik assisted during all five medical checkups.
