PONDA: Reacting to the BJP’s defeat at the Karnataka assembly poll results on Wednesday, Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar admitted that infighting within the party had led to the downfall of BJP in Karnataka.
Parrikar was speaking to reporters along the sidelines of a Ponda Municipal Council election campaign meeting organised by Ponda Citizens Committee at Ponda late Wednesday evening.
“The Karnataka assembly election result is the outcome of a conflict between B S Yeddyurappa and the Karnataka BJP. However, the scenario in our party is trouble-free and there is nothing to worry as all is well within the Goa BJP,” said Parrikar.
