The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has unveiled a 10-day, 9-night tour package to Japan, offering travellers an opportunity to experience the country’s renowned cities, cultural heritage and scenic attractions.
The tour is scheduled to depart from Delhi on September 6 and includes visits to Tokyo, Hakone, Hamamatsu, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara and Hiroshima. Participants will fly from Delhi to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and return to India on September 15.
The package is priced at ₹3,45,999 per person on a triple-sharing basis, while the twin-sharing option costs ₹3,49,999 per person. Travellers opting for single occupancy will have to pay ₹4,73,999.
IRCTC has also introduced special pricing for families travelling with children. The package costs ₹2,92,499 for children aged 5 to 11 years with a bed, while the rate is ₹2,63,999 for children in the same age group without a bed.
The tour aims to provide travellers with a comprehensive experience of Japan, covering major metropolitan centres, historic landmarks and picturesque destinations during the 10-day itinerary.
