Karnataka Youth Arrested at Mopa Airport for Carrying Unlicensed GPS Device

PANJIM: The Mopa Police have booked a 25-year-old man from Karnataka for allegedly trying to board a flight with a GPS device.

According to police, the alleged accused identified as Nithin CM, resident of Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, was trying to board a flight to Shivamogga from Manohar International Airport when the security personnel detected one Garmin GPS Device in his baggage. When asked, the accused failed to produce any license or permission from the competent authority.

An FIR has been registered under section 35 (3) of BNSS and the case is being investigated by PSI Viraj Sawant of Mopa Airport Police Station.
