PANJIM: The Konkani Bhasha Mandal (KBM), Goa, will hold two-day Lilavati Damodar Nayak Memorial ‘Chitrangi’, a social and literary gathering at Koparde-Sattari on November 9 and 10.

This gathering aims to celebrate and discuss significant social, cultural, and literary themes relevant to the Goan community.
Prerna Desai, a noted social worker and expert in economics, will inaugurate the two-day event at 3:30 pm on Saturday, November 9. On the occasion, Datta Damodar Nayak, a well-known Goan entrepreneur and literary personality, will be the special guest. Following the inauguration, Desai will deliver a keynote speech on “Difficulties of women in leadership.”
Day one highlights includes seminar on “Social Reforms in Goa: Yesterday and Today,” at 5:30 pm and literary discussion and cultural performance after 9 pm.
Day two includes environmental walk led by environmentalist Angarika Sawant; panel discussion on “Women’s movement and empowerment in Goa” and a panel discussion on “Women’s Sensibility”.
with topics on mental health, social media, and cancer awareness, featuring social activist Dipali Naik, Assistant Professor Urvashi Naik, entrepreneur Sarika Naik, and Associate Professor Prashanti Talpankar.
For the concluding programme at 2 pm, entrepreneur JyotiDhond will be the chief guest and senior journalist SandeshPrabhudesai will share his observations of the event. The organisers have requested literature enthusiasts, social activists, and the public to attend the two-day literary gathering.
