Khandola man suffers cardiac arrest during cricket match, succumbs

PONDA: In a sombre incident, 52-year-old Rohidas Naik from Jaidwada, Khandola, succumbed to a cardiac arrest while playing cricket on Sunday afternoon. The sports enthusiast collapsed on the ground during a local cricket tournament. He was rushed to Betki Primary Health Centre (PHC), where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

According to sources, Naik suffered a cardiac arrest while his team was on the field during the afternoon, engaged in the fielding session. His death has left the local cricket community in shock and sorrow.
