PANJIM: The Goenkarancho Ekvott, an association of Goans residing in the national capital will hold Goan Konkani Film Festival at the India International Centre (IIC), New Delhi from August 4 to 6.
The films to be screened are ‘Nacho-ia Kumpasar’ on August 4 at 6 pm, ‘Home Sweet Home’ on August 5 at 6:30 pm and ‘Home Sweet Home 2’ on August 6 at 6:30 pm.
The film festival is organised with the objective of promoting Konkani language in the capital city of India. These acclaimed Goan films will be shown and enjoyed by Goans friends and family living in Delhi, states a press release.
The decision to organise Goan Konkani Film Festival was taken by the new executive committee headed by Sagar Naik Kurade. The committee will continue promoting the social and cultural aspects of Goa through various activities including Goa Festival which is an annual flagship of the association.
