The final rites of Fr Bolmax Pereira will be conducted on May 28, 2026, with funeral ceremonies scheduled in Chicalim and Quepem.
According to the schedule announced by Church authorities, the mortal remains of Fr Pereira will be placed at St. Francis Xavier Church at 7:00 am, allowing parishioners, relatives, and well-wishers to pay their last respects. A Holy Mass will thereafter be celebrated at 10:00 am.

Following the service in Chicalim, the mortal remains will be taken to his residence in Quepem.
The funeral cortège will leave the residence at 2:30 pm and proceed to Holy Cross Church, where the Eucharistic Celebration will be held at 3:00 pm.
Fr Pereira, who served as the Parish Priest of Chicalim and was widely known for his social activism, passed away after suffering a heart attack on Saturday.
