SIOLIM: The residents of Bharwan-Wada, Camurlim agitated against and stopped the ongoing work of hill cutting on Wednesday morning. The trees have also been cut and locals have claimed it to be illegal. The flying squad and Mamlatdar inspected the area and took stock of the situation.
Former sarpanch Sharad Gad alleged that some of the panch members are encouraging illegal work.
