A man allegedly set fire to his wife’s and son’s two-wheelers following a family dispute in Varca, police reported. The vehicles, an Activa scooter and a TVS Ntorq, were extensively damaged, resulting in an estimated loss of around Rs 2.2 lakh.
The incident came to light after the wife of the accused filed a complaint with Colva Police, also alleging that her husband threatened to kill her. Authorities have registered a case and are investigating the matter. No arrests have been reported so far, and police are working to determine the full circumstances behind the act.
