MARGAO: A homicide case has been registered against two officials of Vijay Marine Service, Rassai in Loutolim by Maina-Curtorim Police. Those booked are Suraj Dailani (owner and manager of the firm) and Kripashankar Nabhik, the contractor/supervisor and native of Uttar Pradesh. They have been booked under section 304 of IPC. According to police, the accused ordered one Ramchari Nabhik, 30, to clean/grind the floor of a ship without providing him safety gears such as shoes, rubber gloves and crash helmet. While executing the order, Nabhik got electrocuted after he came in contact with a live wire.
