Mandrem police have registered a case after a 65-year-old man alleged that he, his wife and son were attacked by a group of six persons following a long-running property dispute at Sawantwada, Mandrem.
According to the complaint, the elderly man was stopped, threatened and assaulted by the accused, who also allegedly took away his mobile phone during the incident. His wife and son were also targeted in the attack, leaving the family shaken.

Police officials said an investigation is underway to identify and apprehend those involved. Statements are being recorded and further action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
