PANJIM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Sadanand Shet Tanavade on Sunday said the Prime Minister’s “Mann Ki Baat” programme underlines the importance of booth committees and helps to connect with booth level workers.
He was speaking after watching the 87th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” at Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) councillor Diksha Mainkar’s residence, Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar and BJP general secretary (organisation) Satish Dhond were also present.

He said that the booth workers are the backbone of the party in every election to ensure victory. It helps to come together and connect with them as well..
“While addressing the nation through his “Mann Ki Baat”, the Prime Minister speaks on various issues in the society and also informs people about the stories around. This helps us stay informed and updated,” he said.
