mapusa: The Parent Teachers Association of New Goa’s G S Amonkar Vidya Mandir Mapusa, have written a letter addressed to the Education Director, requesting that the SSC exams be cancelled and to promote all the SSC students.
PTA Chairman, Vijay Bhike attributed their demand to the rise in COVID-19 positive cases.

“Also the decision to conduct the exams is contrary to the guidelines issued by the Central government which also shows that the State has not consulted the Union Ministries,” he added.
