On March 2, the aggrieved section of taxi operators set another deadline of one month to scrap GoaMiles app-based taxi service; failing which they have threatened to come on the streets with their families.

The minister assured to come up with a solution that would protect the welfare of the taxi business as well as overall tourism.

“Our Goan brothers (taxi operators) are in this line of business for several years. In keeping with the interest of everyone, we are trying to settle the issue,” he further said.
