PANJIM: An officer with the Water Resources Department Jagdish Hosmani was interrogated by the special investigation team (SIT) in connection with the mining scam registered against former independent MLA and mining baron Anil Salgaocar.
Suspended Mines Director Arvind Lolienkar, who has already been questioned in the case, is expected to be re-summoned. Sources said a former conservator of Forests, who headed the committee and is presently posted in Arunachal Pradesh is also expected to be summoned by the SIT shortly.
