PORVORIM: Pointing to the on-going protest against Government on issues like PDAs and fish-formalin, Minister for Town and Country Planning (TCP) Vijai Sardesai, on Monday, said that House should decide how much activism which is going across the board should be tolerated in Goa.
He was speaking amidst the protest by Congress MLAs who had moved an adjournment motion on the Floor of the House on the formalin-fish issue, demanding suspension of Question Hour and detail discussion on the controversial subject.
“We can see the protest inside and outside the State Assembly. House should decide how much activism which is going across the board should be tolerated in Goa. This is something for the House to debate,” Sardesai said as he tried to reply to a question on illegal conversions.
He said deliberate attempts are made to defame some House members .
“There are certain allegations made but they are not substantiated. This is mobocracy which is ruling the roost,” Minister added.
