CALANGUTE: A 45-year-old native of Mumbai reportedly committed suicide by jumping into a well at Mainath Bhatti, Arpora, on Tuesday.
According to Anjuna Police, locals noticed footwear near the well and alerted the fire service station. The fire personnel rushed to the site and recovered the body which was recognised by locals as that of Wilson Fernandes, who was working in a hotel at Arpora and was retrenched 3 months back.
Anjuna Police also rushed to the site and took stock of the situation.
