The Margao Chief Judicial Magistrate has issued chargesheets to several accused in the high-profile Mungul gang war case. The Fatorda Police submitted a comprehensive 624-page chargesheet detailing the alleged roles of multiple individuals involved in the incident.
With the extensive nature of the case, authorities indicated that it may soon be transferred to the Sessions Court for further trial. During the proceedings, legal representatives from both the defence and the State presented their submissions. One of the accused was granted bail, while summons were issued to others who are yet to appear.
