Addressing media persons, NGTOA President Shamba Gawas and other office bearers said the attempt to transport e-auctioned ore by a company at Kodli-Tisk by awarding a transportation contract to a new contractor was great injustice to mining-dependent contractors, truck owners and other operators.
“This will lead to division among the truck owners and quarrels between the groups, which could affect the starting of mining activity in future. The mining company has not taken the truck owners into confidence,” charged a member.
NGTOA has already submitted a memorandum to the chief minister listing out their grievances.
