“It is the party president who has taken the decision to bring back the leaders accused of anti-party activities. His wisdom cannot be questioned”, Reginaldo said, even as he hastened to add that the high command will take a call on all issues plaguing the Goa Congress. Asked to throw light on the fate of the block committees, both dissolved and the process initiated to reconstitute the blocks, Reginaldo said that outgoing GPCC president John Fernandes has submitted the list of names of party men who were supposed to be inducted on the block committees. “This issue and the issue of dissolution will be decided by the high command”, he added.
Meanwhile, the Curtorim MLA has urged the CM not to indulge in politics on the implementation of the Griha Aadhar scheme. Reginaldo said the govt has set October 31 as the deadline for the beneficiaries to submit life certificates.
