Later, Assistant Engineer Eknath Paste assured to solve the problem shortly.
Paste informed that for the past two days due to power shutdown they did not receive water supply from the Selaulim Dam.
He also mentioned that the water pipeline at Ganesh Temple area is old and in corroded condition. Thus, it needs to be replaced.”
“I will look into the matter,” he said.
When questioned about some households which have got new pipeline connections, Paste said that his staff will check on it.
“Due to low pressure the water supply is also affected. Delays in starting of the pump also sometimes affect the water supply,” he added.
