Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on Wednesday said there was no decision with regard to the Zilla Parishad elections in the State. “There is no decision on Zilla Pachayat elections. Words were put in the Minister’s mouth by the media person,” the CM said, referring to Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho’s statement of elections after the SSC exams.
He said the reporters asked him when the ZP elections will be held and Godinho replied they will think about it after the SSC exams.

The Chief Minister also apologised for not maintaining social distancing at the Dabolim grade separator inauguration event, saying henceforth inaugurations will be held online.
