PANJIM: Quepem MLA Chandrakant Kavalekar, during Question Hour, alleged that that the people belonging to Opposition constituencies are denied benefits under tribal schemes.
However, Tribal Minister Ramesh Tawadkar denied the same and according to his reply, seven schemes have been notified by government for tribal community ~Atat Asra Yojana, Sansriti Bhavan, Mundkaranche Ghar, Antya Sanskar Sahav yojana, Post metric scholarship, Prashikshan yatra and scheme to support the orphan child of a widow.
