MAPUSA: The Anjuna Police have booked an unknown person for snatching gold chain.

According to the police, Renuka Ravi Lamani (35), resident of Mainath Bhati, Arpora, lodged a complaint that on Tuesday at around 17.00 hours near Pizza Hut, Arpora, an unknown accused male person on a Honda Dio scooter (black and orange colour), wearing a black colour jacket and black colour long pant, having thin build snatched the gold chain of the complainant weighing 10 grams worth Rs 50,000 from the complainant’s neck while she was walking by the side of the road.
In this connection, Anjuna Police have registered offence under Section 356,379 IPC. ASI Tukaram Pednekar is further investigating the case.
