Dhavalikar demanded that the government should declare the Zilla Parishad elections date as there is chaos and confusion prevailed among the minds of voters and candidates as some BJP leaders says it would be held on December 12, some says around December 18 while some leaders saying it would held in January.

“If the elections are to happen then there should be Code of Conduct as some ministers were seen holding campaigns for BJP backed candidates at Pernem using government machinery,” he said.
