One person was murdered at Sancoale, & the body was dumped amid construction debris near the Metastrips site. The deceased was identified as Sanjay Kumar Yadav, 35 years. Verna police carried out the investigation and detained the accused Kanhayya Lal Yadav who is allegedly involved in the crime. Raia Borkar and ex-Sarpanch Premanand Naik demanded the removal of trucks along the road, and said people get drunk in the evenings and fight here.
