Pan & Gutka Vendors Return to Church Square Pavements; Goan NGO Seeks CCP Action

Pan and gutka sellers were once again found occupying the pavements at Church Square in Panjim, raising concerns over pedestrian safety and illegal vending.

The NGO intervened on Tuesday and managed to remove the vendors from the pavement. Following the action, the organisation has formally requested the Commissioner of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), Clen Madeira, to take further steps to prevent the recurrence of such encroachments.
