PANJIM: The Panjim Church was a focal point of devout observance and vibrant festivity on Monday as the Feast of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception was celebrated with joy and fervour.

The faithful attended masses beginning at 5 am, culminating with a solemn High Mass at 9:30 am.
The feast was marked with a solemn procession taken through the streets featuring the revered statue of Our Lady and accompanied by a brass band. The mass of Panjim was celebrated by auxiliary bishop Rev Dr Simião Purificação Fernandes.
