Panjim Police have registered an FIR against 19 residents of Mala, organizers of a Narkasur effigy, for allegedly forming an unlawful assembly and obstructing police personnel from performing their duties.
The complaint states that the accused hindered officers who attempted to stop the event’s loud music, which violated local noise regulations. Authorities are investigating the incident and further action is expected against those involved in the alleged obstruction.
